British Library fetes classic book's 150th anniversary with new products.

London's British Library has tapped 10/6 London, a division of manufacturer Cotton World, to create children's apparel and homewares inspired by Alice in Wonderland as the classic brand celebrates its 150th anniversary.

10/6 London is creating a line of children’s t-shirts, pajamas and a premium duvet set that feature re-drawings of iconic characters from the Lewis Carroll book inspired by the original drawings of Sir John Tenniel.

"We are delighted to be welcoming Cotton World and their new brand 10/6 London to our list of licensing partners," says Martin Oestreicher, licensing manager, The British Library. "As the custodian of Lewis Carroll's original manuscript, Alice has a particular significance for the British Library, and these exciting re-interpretations of Tenniel's iconic images will bring Alice to life for a new generation."

The line will initially be available exclusively at The British Library's retail shop and website and will be showcased at Brand Licensing Europe this October.
