9 Story Media Group has optioned the rights to Penguin Young Readers' bestselling children’s book series, “Otis the Tractor,” which it plans to turn into an animated TV series. 9 Story has also optioned the merchandising and licensing rights for the brand.

the book series is published by Philomel Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers. The series debuted in 2009, selling more than 1.5 million copies to-date across nine titles.
