“I think we’re at the very beginning of our journey,” says Helena Mansell-Stopher, founder, Products of Change. “The great thing is a lot of people are now saying ‘we want to achieve carbon neutrality by this date’ or ‘we want to remove all our single use plastics,’ or ‘we want to look at our packaging to reduce box sizes,’ but we’re at the start of that journey. Even if you look outside brand licensing at companies like Unilever that have been driving sustainable change for over a decade, even they don’t have it across everything that they do, so they’re on a journey, and the brand and licensing industry at the beginning of that journey.”
