Licensing Management International has announced that it has recently been appointed to handle Catsline, the top-selling feline brand in France with 30 licensees.
LMI was established in the early 1980s to handle the European licensing for George Lucas’ original “Star Wars” trilogy. The company then inaugurated the NFL European Licensing Program as well as developing the global Davis Cup licensing program on behalf of the International Tennis Federation. Andrew Maconie, the company’s founder, handled the global licensing for the FIFA World Cup.
Clients of LMI include “Game of Thrones,” Tarzan, Nestle and more. They focus on categories such as automotive, food and beverage, heritage/historical, character/art, sport and entertainment.
Catsline has more than 400 different product designs currently in production, with more to be added soon under this new LMI deal.
Beyond France, Catsline licensed products are also sold in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Korea, the United States and South America.
