Ste. Michelle Wine Gets a Taste of AI
Meredith Corporation and Ste. Michelle Wine Estates are teaming up to position the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates portfolio as the wine pairings of choice via Meredith's smart technology capabilities, which include proprietary first-party data, real-time consumer insights and predictive advertising capabilities.
This partnership marks the first time a major advertiser has teamed up with Meredith on a program rooted in artificial intelligence.
The program will apply machine learning techniques to automatically classify recipes on recipe site Allrecipes and the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates portfolio of wines, and an algorithm will combine the classifications to generate wine pairings for each recipe. The wine pairings will appear adjacent to recipes and will be linked directly to local grocery stores and e-commerce partners including Instacart and Amazon Fresh for fulfillment using the proprietary Shopper Marketing platform from Meredith.
