The National Basketball Association (NBA) is entering the NBA space. In collaboration with OpenSea, a NFT marketplace, fans can have a piece of their favorite players on the web.

18,000 NFTs will be minted in total, with each player getting 75 editions of their respective NFT. The entire collection is done in a blind-mint format, meaning customers won’t know which player they have received until the official reveal on April 22.

The more a player accomplishes during the playoffs, the more changes their NFT will go through. Changes include backgrounds, accessories and emojis made by artists.
