Erve and BoredJobs have announced the signing of a new NFT IP licensing contract that will see Erve bring large-scale distribution partners to distribute licensed apparel and introduce Bored Ape Yacht Club to the U.K. and European retailers.

Erve will bring the 11 Bored Ape Yacht Club characters to life through apparel to its network of retailers, working in tandem with the owner on creative developments. In the coming months, Erve will work to bring a collection of Bored Ape Yacht Club daywear, nightwear, accessories, socks, and underwear to the retail audience in the U.K. and Europe.

“Apparel has always been a physical extension of expression; now NFTs are becoming a digital extension of people’s cultural values,” says Roshan Mirajkar, vice president, marketing, Mousebelt. “Retail outlets are the perfect exposure points for bringing NFT mass appeal to a new consumer base that will learn about new community-centric brands ascending all areas of typical celebrity-like fame. Working with partners that can reach economies-of-scale as Erve enables us to target a whole industry subcategory instead of a singular brand”.

“The BAYC is growing out into a globally adopted brand. Therefore, we acted fast and were able to contact one of the biggest Ape holders via BoredJobs,” says Nick Dierickx, licensing manager EMEA, Erve. “We are now able to bring BAYC to the fans via different retailers in the U.K. and Europe.”
