The Dodo, the global social media brand celebrating animals, has announced that its children’s programming brand, Dodo Kids, has partnered with “Calm,” the leading mental wellness brand with the No. 1 app for sleep, meditation and relaxation, to create new Sleep Stories featuring Dodo Kids characters. The partnership aims to leverage children’s connection to animals to help them drift off to sleep, without needing to count sheep.

“Whether it's during the day or at bedtime, all of us are moved and comforted by animals and their stories,” says Dave Glauber, creative lead, Dodo Kids. “Dodo Kids is excited to partner with Calm to introduce some of our favorite animal stories into kids' nighttime routines, where they're sure to help kids relax – and their parents, too.”

The partnership includes two new Sleep Stories available exclusively on “Calm” including “Arnie’s Nighttime Bath” and “Frankie and Maggie’s Nighttime Hike,” which feature characters from Dodo and Dodo Kids franchises. Both will

be translated and available in Spanish as well. The Dodo will additionally create and distribute two daytime videos that are prequels to the Sleep Stories for its Dodo Kids YouTube channel, which will also be available on the Dodo Kids app. Kids on YouTube can join Arnie the armadillo as he searches for a way to make a dream come true and also follow Frankie the goat and Maggie the dog on an adventure under the stars.
