pocket.watch has partnered with GoKidGo to redefine creator podcasts with innovative audio entertainment for children. This collaboration brings high-quality, imaginative storytelling to kids ages 3-11, launching with two exciting podcasts from pocket.watch’s talent portfolio.
The first is “Love, Diana: Musical Mysteries,” an expansion of the Love, Diana world, based on the most-followed girl on YouTube. In each of the 30 episodes, preschoolers will solve puzzles as Diana invites them on fun-filled musical adventures through the Land of Play. “The Love, Diana: Musical Mysteries” brand extension also includes a new live-action and animated series and a musical album, bringing even more excitement to the beloved franchise.
“GEM Sisters: Sister Detectives” is the second podcast within the partnership. The new audio series brings together the GEM Sisters – Giselle, Evangeline and Mercedes – for ten episodes of mystery-solving fun. In each episode, the sisters put on their sleuthing caps and use teamwork to stop a beat-stealing crime ring.
Established by audio producers, Maia Glikman and Jennifer Clary, GoKidGo has earned a reputation for creating high-quality audio content. Their innovative podcasts aim to provide educational value and engaging entertainment that resonates with kids while addressing the important issues they face, from inclusivity to the need for quality, screen-free activities.
“Podcasts are a rapidly emerging medium for entertainment and GoKidsGo has done an incredible job uniquely engaging kids' imaginations,” says Carin Davis, head of development at pocket.watch. “By expanding into podcasts, pocket.watch continues our commitment to finding innovative ways to extend the reach of our massive creator network and provide families with even more enriching, interactive ways to experience their favorite content.”
Earlier this year, Guy Raz and Nicole Blake shared insights on how podcasts continue to participate in the cultural zeitgeist, at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
“We are thrilled to partner with pocket.watch and their roster of top kids and family creators,” says Maia Glikman, chief executive officer, GoKidGo. “Together, we’re combining pocket.watch’s beloved franchises and massive audience with GoKidGo’s innovative and immersive storytelling to deliver fresh, imaginative audio experiences to kids everywhere.”
