Ship & Duck, the online marketplace where brands, licensors and licensees can connect, has refined its platform and rebranded it The Licensing Marketplace after receiving a £250,000 grant from the U.K. Technology Strategy Board.

The design and operation of the site has been overhauled followed feedback from the beta version, which launched in spring 2013, to allow users to more easily connect, conceive, develop, produce and distribute licensed products.

Ship & Duck will use the remaining funds from the grant to develop its dedicated Buyer’s Showroom, an extension to the hub where buyers will be able to directly source branded consumer products.

Among the brands already active on The Licensing Marketplace are Aston Martin, Ford Motor Company, PGA Tour, WWF, the Football Association, WilliamsF1, UEFA Futsal and Creative Artist Agency. ??
