The NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group has teamed up with office products provider Quill.com to create a full line of Dunder Mifflin-branded office supplies inspired by the fictional company from the series “The Office.”
Quill.com debuted Dunder Mifflin printer/copier paper in late 2011 as part of a licensing deal brokered by the Joy Tashjian Marketing Group, and now plans to expand the line with Sharpies, self-stick notes, facial tissue boxes, coffee cups, storage boxes and legal pads.
“People really responded to the opportunity to have ‘The Office’ in their office,” says Sergio Pereira, vice president of merchandising, Quill.com. “They love the humor and levity it brings to a corporate environment.”
Items will feature slogans inspired by “The Office” including: “Get Your Write On” on Dunder Mifflin Permanent Markers by Sharpie, “The Picky Person’s First Pick” on boxes of Dunder Mifflin facial tissue, “Look Busy. Take Notes.” on legal pads, and “Diversity Pack” on packs of assorted-colors self-stick notes.
Product will beginning shipping in December and January, and are available now for pre-order at Quill.com.
