National Geographic is launching a second line of branded luggage through its North American luggage and travel accessories licensee Travelpro International, a subsidiary of Holiday Group.

The new seven-piece luggage line, the Northwall Collection, is designed for durability and built to travel over any terrain. The line includes soft and rolling duffels, uprights, a daypack and a sling bag.

“The National Geographic Northwall Collection combines abundant storage with rugged durability and a water- and stain-resistant coating and lightweight design that make it ready to go anywhere in the world,” says Scott Applebee, vice president of marketing, Travelpro. “We are proud to partner with National Geographic and to support their important mission and projects.”

Each piece in the line features innovations for adventure travelers including built-in wet pockets for storing toiletries, ball-bearing wheels that have been tested for more than 25 miles, a large front pocket with a padded laptop compartment, a business organizer, a side-zippered water bottle pocket and electronics pockets.

The interior lining features a constellations map, reflecting National Geographic’s tradition of exploration.

The retro-inspired National Geographic Kontiki luggage collection, also from Travelpro, was launched in August. To read more, click here.
