9 Story Entertainment has announced a new multi-platform online and e-commerce effort for “Almost Naked Animals,” including a new website, online game, CafePress e-store and partnership with the kids social networking site Jabbersmack.
The newly launched AlmostNakedAnimals.com is designed to be an online community for fans featuring the new game, “Cabana Craze,” where players accrue points by running their own hotels and then use those points to unlock additional games and features. Select Almost Naked Animals merchandise will also include codes that unlock extra play areas and videos.
And that merchandise can now be found not only on the new website, but also on a new CafePress.com Almost Naked Animals online store. Products include t-shirts, notebooks and plush characters.
The final piece in the brand’s new online strategy, is a presence on Jabbersmack, the new social networking site for kids and tweens. Fans of “Almost Naked Animals” can watch videos, connect safely to play group games or hang out and chat.
"With each new piece of the Almost Naked Animals entertainment experience, we create an engaging, exciting environment for our young fans and their families," says Vince Commisso, president and chief executive officer, 9 Story Entertainment. "We are delighted to be extending the fun of Almost Naked Animals brand enjoyment with the help of our partners, including Cartoon Network, CafePress and Jabbersmack."
Airing on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and YTV in Canada, “Almost Naked Animals” is an animated comedy series featuring free-spirited animals that happen to be in their underwear.
9 Story has also released the first DVD for the series, “It’s My Party,” featuring the first six episodes of the season one.
