Musical electronics company Shure has appointed Licensing Matters Global, a London-based boutique licensing agency, to launch a worldwide licensing program. The program will leverage Shure products in selected product categories such as home, fashion, personal accessories, travel and tech equipment.
The Shure brand and microphones are a part of music pop culture for more than its 96-year history. Performers, leaders and communicators like Elvis, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr have all relied on Shure to deliver their messages.
"We are eager to help expand the legacy of this world-renowned brand through strategic licensing," says Mark Edridge, chief operating officer, Licensing Matters Global. "Our vision is to carry the Shure product excellence into new categories, through premium products that inspire and empower consumers."
LMG is seeking partner licensees with manufacturing capabilities to create designs for the Shure brand, such as equipment cases, microphone stands, t-shirts, home décor and more.
