English rock band Motörhead, Camerons Brewery and Global Merchandising Services have tapped Arcadia Brewing Company to create and distribute Röad Crew beer in the U.S..

The new, American IPA will feature a nearly 6.2 percent alcohol level, a hop-forward pale ale, malt sweetness as well as floral and citrusy notes.

“We began our trek into the craft beer world 22 years ago inspired by world-class, British-inspired beers, and becoming a partner with British icons Mötorhead, Camerons and Global Merchandising to bring Röad Crew to fans of great beer and heavy metal here in the U.S. has our volume dial pegged to the max,” says Tim Surprise, founder, Arcadia.

Road Crew will be available in bottles, cans, kegs and casks later this year.

Camerons debuted Röad Crew in 2015 and has exported it to more than 22 countries.  This year, the beer was nominated for a best product award at this year’s International Licensing Awards, taking place May 22 during Licensing Expo.
