Metal band Metallica has announced a new children’s book that takes a look at the history of the band.

The ABCs of Metallica chronicles the story of the band by going through the alphabet with interesting correlating facts about Metallica’s history. It comes as part of a philanthropic push for the band’s nonprofit All Within My Hands charity, which supports workforce education and the fight against hunger.

Set to hit book stores on Nov. 26, the book is co-authored by Howie Abrams (The Merciless Book of Metal Lists, Hip-Hop Alphabet), with illustrations by Michael "Kaves" McLeer, who participated in Metallica's Obey Your Master exhibit in 2012.

Metallica previously hit licensing via a partnership with whiskey brand Blackened American Whiskey.
