Global Merchandising Services (GMS) has recently selected KOPA as its agent for Latin America to identify and develop licensing opportunities in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

The roster of Global Merchandising Services includes figures in rock such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motörhead, Ozzy Osbourne, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Slayer, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Lenny Kravitz, along with pop icons like Backstreet Boys.

Within just six months from the time KOPA was appointed, two licensees have already been signed, Toxic in Mexico and Textiles Arval in Peru and Ecuador, whose collections will be available by the end of 2021.

“We are delighted to work with Carlos Carvajal [managing director, KOPA] and KOPA,” says José Santiago, international licensing manager, Global Merchandising Services. “It is a great opportunity to grow and continue to develop our client’s business in Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.”
