Global Merchandising Services (Global) has announced a deal to represent Oasis, one of Britain’s most successful and celebrated rock bands of all time, as worldwide licensing agent to develop consumer products programs for retail, e-commerce, including the official webstore and licensing (outside touring).

Oasis, the legendary British rock band fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, is known around the world for timeless hits like “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Next summer, the Oasis Live ’25 World Tour kicks off in the British Isles with 19 shows across Wales (Cardiff), England (Manchester and London), Scotland (Edinburgh) and Ireland (Dublin). All shows on the tour sold out within a day.

Global will develop a strategic global licensing and retail campaign across multiple categories, including fashion, streetwear, accessories, gifts, collectibles and more. Oasis products have already begun rolling out via the band’s official website, e-commerce and specialty stores globally, with additional launches planned through 2025.

For September’s issue of License Global, we spoke with Lisa Streff, senior vice president, licensing and brand development, Global Merchandising Services, to discuss the return of Oasis and the 50th anniversaries of Iron Maiden and Motörhead

Despite a 15-year hiatus during which Liam and Noel enjoyed successful solo careers, Oasis maintains a huge following worldwide. The band just celebrated the release of the Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of “Definitely Maybe,” and will be reaching another 30th anniversary milestone in 2025 with 1995’s “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?,” which became the fastest-selling album in the U.K. and the second-bestselling British album ever.

“We couldn’t be more excited to work with Oasis to develop a broad merchandise and retail program to celebrate one of the most iconic bands of all time,” says Jens Drinkwater, head of licensing, Global Merchandising Group.
