FanGirl Consulting & Brand Management has brokered a deal between the estate of hip-hop artist ODB and a string of new licensees.

Products from the deal are expected to hit retail this holiday season, just in time to celebrate ODB’s birthday on Nov. 15. New licensees include:

  • Philcos Enterpriser (tops, basic tees, adult outerwear and headwear);

  • Super7 (ReAction 3.75-inch figures of ODB and other collectibles) and

  • Pyramid America (stationary, wall décor, housewares/home décor and accessories such as keychains, buttons, pins and magnets).

“[ODB] was, and is, one of the most unique music artists,” says Nicole Beckett, creative director, Estate of ODB. “It is so fitting and special that his legacy will now be accessible to fans throughout a variety of merchandise channels. We are excited to work with all of these wonderful brands and beyond to expand his legacy.”

News of the deals come in lead-up to the upcoming Hulu original series “WuTang: An American Saga.”

ODB was an original member of the 10-member hip-hop collective. Hulu’s new series will chart the rise of the popular group from its early days in New York City to today.

ODB’s estate chose FanGirl for licensing earlier this year.
