India’s biggest heavy metal festival, Bangalore Open Air, has launched an e-commerce store for rock & heavy metal merchandise.

The Rock N’ Roll Originals e-commerce store was developed in partnership with leading music merchandiser Global Merchandising Services.

“Our endeavor is to successfully serve authentic merchandise to all rock and metal fans spread across the country from the big metros and cities to remote townships thanks to our vast B2C delivery network,” says Saurabh Zutshi, director, A&R, operations, Bangalore Open Air.

With more than 40 years of experience representing music artists around the world, Global Merchandising Services decided to tap into the Indian market to expand its presence of rock and heavy metal merchandise. Initial bands at launch will include Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Megadeath, Slayer and Lamb of God.

“We are delighted to work with Infinite Dreams Entertainment and the Bangalore Open Air family,” says Jose Santiago, international licensing manager, Global Merchandising. “We couldn’t think of a better partnership to continue building our licensing program and support our bands in India.”
