According to a company statement, The Hotel Transylvania 3 VR book is the first-ever VR book based on a film.

The new VR book takes cues from the previously released VR Studio activity booklet sold in Blu-ray, DVD and digital download bundles of the film, which rolled out in October at Walmart.

The book brings the film’s characters to life and offers fans an immersive experience. “After seeing our customers enjoy Quantum Storey’s Hotel Transylvania 3 activity booklet that was launched last month, we are thrilled that they are bringing Drac, Mavis and the crew to life in a new and exciting way through this standalone VR Book,” says Jamie Stevens, executive vice president, worldwide consumer products, Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The Hotel Transylvania 3 VR book is available now at Walmart stores and on Walmart.com.
