Merchandise for the rollout will hit product categories including toys, cookware and costumes and will span more than 30 partners. New partners include Cost Plus World Market; Funko, NECA, Kid Robot, Mezco Toyz, Bradford Exchange and Sound n Light (unique toys, collectible figurines and plush); HarperCollins (gift and comic books); Bioworld, Fifth Sun and High Point (apparel and accessories) and Rubie’s Costume Company (costumes, accessories and party goods).
“The Addams Family is a cross-generational family classic, and MGM is fortunate to work with such incomparable brands that will help bring the film to new audiences,” said Robert Marick, executive vice president, consumer products, MGM. “We are looking forward to establishing this as a Halloween perennial for years to come.”
MGM licensed products will hit stores in September to align with the Oct. 11 launch of The Addams Family film.
