Classic Media has signed a deal with U.K. theme park Flamingo Land in North Yorkshire, for Postman Pat and other characters from the new "Special Delivery Service" series.

Activities will include meet-and-greet costume appearances, Pat's special missions and live mini-shows from this month through to November 2009.

The deal follows the recent announcement of a Postman Pat SDS live theater tour beginning spring 2010.

The new television series, which debuted in September 2008 and is currently playing out on CBeebies, has sold into 80 territories.

"Postman Pat will be very busy around the park engaging with children across a range of activities including 'special missions.' Both the geographical location and family orientation of Flamingo Land are a perfect fit for Postman Pat."
