The London Resort to bring Paramount attractions to the U.K.
July 8, 2019

The London Resort has entered into a partnership with Paramount Pictures to create a range of theme-park experiences based on the studio's properties.
Paramount will join BBC Studios and ITV Studios in its effort. Both TV houses have previously announced plans to contribute intellectual property to the park.
"The London Resort represents a truly global resort opportunity, and we're delighted to be playing our part in bringing iconic movies to life in truly immersive experiences and rides," says Kevin Suh, president, themed entertainment and consumer products, Paramount Pictures. "We're also delighted, as the most iconic studio in Hollywood, to be sharing our unparalleled catalog of instantly recognizable films and characters."
Paramount previously planned to be a part of the London Resort's 2020 launch, but that deal was put on hold while the theme park pushed back its open date to 2024.
The London Resort has pursued a strategy of working with individual partners to create a range of themed experiences at the park. Spanning more than 535 acres, the resort will be more than three times larger than any other U.K. parks. It will have 200 acres dedicated to rides and experiences and a bespoke entertainment district devoted to a full-suite of hospitality experiences including thousands of hotel rooms.
