Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection Unveils Food Program Based on ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz'

Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection is offering a new lunch and dinner program based on L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” at the hotel’s French Restaurant, “Chef’s Theatre,” for a limited time from now through Sept. 30. 

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”-themed lunch and dinner program narrates the first half of the story through lunch and the second half through dinner so that together, it completes the whole novel. 

The lunch program encapsulates the story from the moment Dorothy and her dog, Toto, get swept away by a tornado, to the climax of the story, when she finally arrives at the Emerald City along with a few others that she befriended during her journey. The dinner program continues from when Dorothy fights the Wicked Witch of the West, to when she and Toto finally get back home with the help of the Witch of the South. 

The entire story is brought to life through seasonal ingredients and delicate French cuisine techniques.
