“Octonauts: The Great Gup Rescue,” the new adventure trail from Silvergate Media and Merlin Entertainment, has been unveiled at Mall of America and will soon launch at Sea Life Centers worldwide. 

In 2021, the two brands collaborated to bring the animated “Octonauts” series to life across 13 Sea Life centers in the U.K., Australia, Shanghai and New Zealand. Now, the new global initiative will welcome preschoolers and families to an aquatic immersive experience featuring the show’s lead characters.

This activation marks the start of a busy year ahead for the brand as we build towards the highly anticipated toy line from Moose Toys, and we’re delighted that our latest collaboration with Merlin Entertainments will create real-life experiences for families to enjoy.” 

The activity trail begins with an underwater storm that has caused major electrical problems leading to all Octonauts vehicles (aka Gups) to break down, leading families to join Captain Barnacles and Dashi to help save the Octonauts.
