Fans of Wallace & Gromit are in for a treat with Locked In A Room's latest offering. In collaboration with Aardman, Locked In A Room has just opened A Grand Way Out escape rooms in its Milton Keynes venue, enabling visitors to race head-to-head in an immersive Wallace & Gromit-themed adventure.
The attraction takes visitors through a selection of classic Wallace & Gromit moments, challenging teams to work together to solve puzzles and help jog Wallace’s memory so they can find A Grand Way Out in time for Wallace to premiere his latest invention at the West Wallaby Street science fair.
“Locked In A Room Milton Keynes: A Grand Way Out gives the unique opportunity for teams to play as a solo team of 2-5 players or head-to-head against other identical rooms for up to 15 players in a ‘first to escape wins’ challenge,” says Oliver Pfaff, director, Locked In A Room. “This is the perfect competitive day out for work colleagues, friends and families, and the experience has proved hugely popular since launch in Bristol in 2023, with weekend dates booked up for many months in advance. Suitable for any age, group size or weather, we are over the moon to launch this cheese-fueled escape room in Milton Keynes.”
“A Grand Way Out has proved hugely popular in Aardman’s hometown of Bristol, so we are thrilled that the Locked In A Room team are now starting to roll the experience out across their other locations too,” says Molly Van Den Brink, attractions and live experiences manager, Aardman. “It’s a wonderful way for fans to truly immerse themselves in the Wallace & Gromit world and we are excited that this is now accessible across another region of the U.K.”
