Legendary Entertainment has unveiled details on the upcoming Pacific Rim: Shatterdome Strike ride, the first Pacific Rim dark ride set to debut at the Trans Studio Cibubur theme park in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The ride will take place in four distinct parts and encompass a nearly 20-minute run time. Guests will experience the thrill of piloting a Jaeger defense robot through the use of 3D film sequences, practical effects and the latest ride vehicle technology.

Guests will have the chance to experience an expanded Pacific Rim mythology with the introduction of new Jaegers and Kaiju exclusively for the ride. Trans Studio worked closely with Legendary Entertainment to ensure that all of the new story elements, technology and creatures would fit into the ever-evolving Pacific Rim canon.
