IMG is taking its "Taste of" festival series to Australia this November.

Taste of Sydney Collective, presented by Electrolux, will showcase new food and entertainment experiences over four days, with the help of some of Australia’s celebrated chefs.

Among other activations, The festival will feature two collective kitchens where 32 chefs will work in pairs to create collaborative dishes over six immersive sessions. New chefs, collaborations and dishes will be served each day.

“Taste of Sydney Collective will offer a cultural food experience like no other,” says Mark Best, chef and curator, Taste of Sydney. “I have handpicked a lineup of Australia’s best culinary talent that will deliver exquisite menu items including one-off creative collaborations. Cooking from an open kitchen, chefs will engage festivalgoers in a truly unique setting.”

Featured talent includes:

  • Skye Gyngell – Spring London

  • Louis Tikaram – E.P.& L.P. Los Angeles

  • Clayton Wells – Automata

  • Ben Sears and Eun Hee An – Paperbird

  • Palisa Anderson – Chat Thai

  • Jesse McTavish – North Bondi Fish

  • Darren Robertson – Three Blue Ducks

“Our extensive experience of running Taste Festivals in Sydney and around the world has shown us that food lovers are craving unique, dynamic and relevant experiences with discovery at heart,” says Hannah Pike, managing director, Culinary, APAC, IMG Events. “Taste of Sydney Collective will push these boundaries with innovative first-time collaborations and bespoke new themes that fuse food, culture and music. Sydney, with its fast-paced and trend-setting food and entertainment scene, is the perfect place for the debut of this new concept.”

Taste of Sydney Collective will take place in Sydney Nov. 8-11. IMG (Stand #H60) is exhibiting at this year's Brand Licensing Europe, which will take place Oct. 9-11 at London’s Olympia.
