Grand Prix Plaza to Launch Year-Round Formula 1 Programming
Interactive experiences F1 Drive, F1 X and the F1 Hub will open in spring 2025.
Grand Prix Plaza, in partnership with Round Room Live, has announced the launch of three immersive Formula 1 experiences set to debut in Spring 2025. This 39-acre multi-use complex, which houses the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, will feature F1-inspired karting, an interactive and educational 4D exhibition, a merchandise store, and three new private event spaces, among other attractions. All of these offerings will be available year-round.
"The opening of Grand Prix Plaza's year-round, consumer facing programming will enable Formula 1 to engage with visitors to the Valley and residents alike in new and exciting ways," says Renee Wilm, chief executive officer, Las Vegas Grand Prix. "Our commitment to the Las Vegas community runs deep, and we could not be happier to bring this collection of unique and immersive experiences to the destination."
The programming at the Grand Prix Plaza will include F1 Drive, F1 X and the F1 Hub. F1 Drive offers an F1-inspired karting experience where participants race electric karts equipped with advanced features like DRS technology, engine sounds, and LED steering displays on a 1,650-foot racetrack that incorporates part of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
F1 X is an immersive exhibit designed for seasoned fans and those new to the sport to engage with F1 outside of race week. Visitors begin by learning about the sport, its teams, and its history through exclusive and never-before-seen artifacts and cars. They can then unleash their creativity by building their own F1 team and designing custom cars and liveries that will be on display for photo moments. The experience with fans preparing for their time on the track as they race against the pros for the fastest pit stop, prepare their strategy along the pit wall and virtually race their creation down the Las Vegas Strip Circuit via a 4D driving experience.
Finally, the F1 Hub provides a central gathering place with racing simulators, a fast-casual eatery and a retail store featuring Las Vegas Grand Prix collections, F1 merchandise, team gear and more.

In addition to these interactive experiences and adding to the flexible event spaces available across the building's three levels and rooftop, Grand Prix Plaza will offer three new private event spaces that will be available to rent year-round. The Turn 1 Lounge provides a stylish and adaptable venue for events ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. The Cool Down Room features high-performance design elements such as chrome and carbon fiber, a central bar, multiple race-viewing screens and access to the pit lane for photo opportunities. Lastly, the GPP Garage transforms a Formula 1 garage into a versatile indoor-outdoor event space along the pit lane, offering unique views of the F1 Drive karts in action.
