ELLE announced its debut into the hospitality world with the launch off Elle Hospitality, which comprises two boutique concepts, Maison ELLE and ELLE Hotel. Owned by French Lagardère Group, ELLE has its headquarters in Paris, where the first Maison ELLE is scheduled to open this fall.

ELLE Hospitality has aligned itself with three real estate and hospitality group partners, including:

  • ACTUR in Mexico – ACTUR is a real estate developer that also provides a platform for lifestyle hospitality and development investment in Mexico;

  • NorthStar in the Middle East – NorthStar is a design and development firm that specializes in collaborations with the top talents in global architecture, art, interiors and fashion; and

  • STUDIO V in Europe – The newest hospitality group in partnership with Valotel group dedicated to brand conception and experiences with a focus on design and development of living spaces.

The first Maison ELLE – in partnership with Studio V, who will own and operate the hotel under the guidance of Pascal Donat, president, Valotel – is set to open in Paris, France in the fall in the 17th district of Paris, near the Arc de Triomphe. It will have 25 guestrooms, suites and a spa. Future openings are planned in Paris and across Europe and China.

"Beyond the hotels themselves, our guests look for meaning and a sense of belonging,” says Pascal Donat, chief executive officer, Valotel and Studio V. “That's why today, bringing to life a brand's emotional connection with the consumer, through hospitality experiences and design, is central to our approach with Maison ELLE.”

“Everyone involved in the project is part of a family that is committed to the same goals,” Ricardo Santa Cruz, chief executive officer, RSC. “We all have social responsibility. Not only to the environment but to our planet and the community living here too.”

Creative direction for the hotel will be provided by ELLE Hospitality. Together with ACTUR, the ELLE Hotel is collaborating with the local community in Jalisco and across Mexico on design.

“We are thrilled to launch ELLE into the world of hospitality,” says Constance Benqué, chairman, ELLE International and chief executive officer, Lagardère News. “Our brand's success to date has been thanks to our innovation, our special relationship with women and we are proud to continue to challenge the status quo, as we enter a new era of travel. Our two concepts, starting with the openings of Maison ELLE in Paris and ELLE Hotel in Mexico will present exciting gateways that will allow guests to see the destinations through a new lens and through ELLE’s vision.”
