DreamWorks, Universal Launch 'Gabby’s Dollhouse' Experience Across EMEA
Retail activation invites families to join interactive scavenger hunt.
DreamWorks Animation, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, has introduced a free, interactive experience for fans of the preschool series, “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” to “Join the Party” at retail locations across EMEA. The series, now in its tenth season on Netflix, offers a mixed-media experience, combining live-action and animation to bring viewers into the cat characters that live inside the dollhouse world.
The activation kicked off last weekend with a 9-day event at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, U.K., before it heads to France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The experience centers around a scavenger hunt in which families assist Gabby in finding statues of her five missing friends. Participants can join by scanning a QR code, unlocking prompts and exclusive content with each character discovery and accessing custom photo filters. Upon completion, attendees are invited to a themed party reflecting themes of recent “Gabby’s Dollhouse” episodes and product releases.
All attendees receive branded cat-ear crowns and stickers, with opportunities to meet the Gabby character on select weekends. Merchandise from key product lines, including Spin Master and LEGO, will be displayed to promote ahead of the holiday season.
