The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association will induct Michael Stone, chairman and co-founder of Beanstalk, and Pam Lifford, president of Warner Bros.

Global Brands and Experiences, into the LIMA Licensing Hall of Fame in 2019.

“LIMA is proud to celebrate these two widely respected licensing veterans who have dedicated their careers to driving the success of licensing among the broader business community,” says Maura Regan, president, LIMA. “Michael has been instrumental in the evolution of brand extension licensing as a highly effective corporate strategy, and Pam is responsible for the domestic and international licensing of some of the most highly regarded entertainment franchises in the world. Their recognition in the Licensing Hall of Fame is well-deserved.”

Stone has worked to grow Beanstalk into a global brand extension agency and consultancy with programs for Procter & Gamble, Stanley Black & Decker, Harley-Davidson, The Coca-Cola Company, HGTV, Diageo and Mary-Kate and Ashley, among others.

Most recently, Stone wrote his first book titled The Power of Licensing: Harnessing Brand Equity.

Lifford joined Warner Bros. in 2016 and now leads a variety of brand and franchise strategies across Warner Bros.’ characters and brands. She also oversees the studio’s consumer products division as well as DC, Themed Entertainment and a new Global Franchise team. In her first year, Lifford increased the consumer products division’s business by 47 percent.

The Hall of Fame induction is set to take place June 4 at the LIMA Licensing Awards Ceremony, which takes place during Licensing Expo 2019 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
