California cannabis maker Nug and media company BuzzFeed have teamed up to launch licensed cannabis products.

BuzzFeed is the first publisher to enter the cannabis market directly. The digital marketing company made the decision to get into the cannabis market after conducting extensive testing on CBD and cannabis marketability. Those efforts revealed consumers’ significant intent to purchase. Ficus research also showed favorable response to aligning the Nug offerings with the wellness brand, Goodful.

Together with NUG, BuzzFeed is launching three NUG x Goodful co-branded flower prepacks. Nug x Goodful flower prepacks launched in late July and are available at select Nug retailers in California.
