Columbus, Ohio's Center of Science and Industry and CGI-animated series "The Zula Patrol" have teamed up to create a range of science programs and resources for nationwide museums, schools and more.

The multiyear partnership will include Zula-themed workshops, birthday parties, overnight events, portable interactive exhibits, subscriptions to ZulaWorld.com and more.

"Zula's mission—to trigger children's curiosity about how things work in the world around us, and inspire them to be lifelong learners—is a perfect complement to COSI's ground-breaking work in hands-on science education," says Deborah Manchester, Ph.D., "The Zula Patrol" creator. "We're very excited about partnering with COSI to create innovative Zula-themed activities to engage current and future generations."

"The Zula Patrol" airs Saturday mornings on NBC's Qubo block, as well as on public television stations and in Spanish on Telemundo. Parent Magazine recently named COSI as the No. 1 science center in the U.S. The center, which opened in 1964, currently offers more than 300 exhibits.
