Independent production company Zig Zag has won the Rose d’Or for best game show for its series “Relentless.”

Contestants complete a series of challenges to win a cash prize with each episode featuring one contestant who is challenged to answer ten questions at anytime over a 48-hour period.

The six part series was shown on Channel 4 earlier this year. Prosieben in Germany has since picked up the format and Zig Zag is also in discussions with broadcasters in the U.S. about a North American version. “Relentless” is distributed by ITV Global Entertainment worldwide excluding the U.S. and U.K.

Other nominees in the best game show category were “Clockwise” (Kuperman Productions/Keshet Broadcasting), “Estate of Panic” (Endemol USA/ Endemol International NL), “The Chain” (RTBF/ RTBF), “The Colour of Money” (12 Yard Productions/ ITV Global Entertainment) and “The Sting” (Europroducciones TV).
