Universal Pictures has granted the USA Network premiere rights to some of the studio's two dozen 2009 films.

The agreement includes up-coming films such as Duplicity, Fast & Furious, Land of the Lost as well as those that have already been released, including Atonement, Frost/Nixon and Milk.

"This deal is the most ambitious movie acquisition to date for USA," says Jane Blaney, executive vice president, programming, acquisitions and scheduling, USA Network. "To partner with Universal makes it a win-win across NBU platforms, while complementing USA's brand strategy with an A-list talent roster with a proven track record on the network, including Adam Sandler, Matt Damon and Johnny Depp."
