The MoonScoop Group's Taffy Entertainment has signed a worldwide (except Australia, New Zealand, China and parts of Southeast Asia) distribution deal with SLR Productions for the animated comedy series "Gasp" (52 x 11), based on the Australian comic book series and a broadcast deal for the series with French Canal+.

"Gasp" is told from the point-of-view of a goldfish named Gasp, and explores family relationships through the adventures of pets left home alone. Now in production, the first episodes of the series will be delivered in June and it will begin airing in spring 2010.

The series is produced by SLR Productions, in association with Screen Australia, Network Nine Australia, ABCKids, Agogo and Taffy Entertainment.

Meanwhile, MoonScoop and Milan-based Atlantyca Entertainment have signed Giochi Preziosi as the first European toy licensee for the animated TV series "Geronimo Stilton." The deal provides Giochi Preziosi with the rights to create toys based on the series, which is scheduled to premiere in Italy this autumn and roll out across Europe beginning 2010. MoonScoop is the worldwide (except Italy) consumer products licensor for the property. Atlantyca Entertainment is the worldwide rights holder on the Geronimo Stilton brand and its characters.
