Footwear importer The Royer Group recently acquired France-based The TSS Group, a children's shoe manufacturer and distributor. The move seals Royer as one of the leading European companies in the licensing market, having reached sales of €260 million ($343 million) in 2008.

TSS held licenses to Disney and Warner shoe products and made sales of €21 million ($28 million) in 2008.

Royer currently holds agreements with properties including Hello Kitty, Spectacular Spider-Man, Ben 10, Star Wars and others. In 2008, the company acquired the Charles Jourdan brand, as well as Kickers and Stephane Kélian in 2007.
