Rai Fiction Animation has launched a number of new properties in production to the market. These include "Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary," for younger children authored by Enzo d'Alò and Vincenzo Cerami; "Geronimo Stilton," based on the children's books, and "Teen Days," with filmmaker Maurizio Nichetti directing a long-running animation series for the first time.

Two other projects under way include "The Voyages of Marco Polo," the first Italian-Chinese animation co-production with CCTV, and "The Little Prince," based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Rai Fiction launched the properties at Cartoons on the Bay in Rapallo last week.
