Nelvana to Represent Mr Men, Little Miss in Canada

Chorion properties Mr Men and Little Miss have selected Nelvana Enterprises as their Canadian licensing agent.

Nelvana Enterprises, a division of Toronto-based Corus Entertainment, will represent both children's brand, and build upon merchandise such as apparel, accessories, toys, novelty items, as well as live stage shows and character appearances.

"Corus Entertainment will put our full weight behind the Mr. Men and Little Miss brand," says Mark Northwood, vice president of worldwide licensing for Nelvana Enterprises. "This exciting TV series and consumer products property will benefit from the scale of Corus Entertainment in Canada, leveraging our proven expertise in merchandise licensing, live entertainment and the heft of our broadcast networks in Canada."

"The Mr Men Show" debuted in Canada on YTV and has been sold to 18 territories. Mr Men and Little Miss are based on a 1970s book series by British author Roger Hargreaves.
