Mrs. Fields Files For Bankruptcy

Mrs. Fields Famous Brands filed for bankruptcy recently with plans to restructure business.

The popular cookie chain licenses close to 1,200 franchised and licensed locations globally. Mrs. Fields plans to continue business as usual.

“Once the restructuring is completed,” says Stephen Russo, Mrs. Fields president and chief executive officer, “we will be positioned to realize the substantial value of the Mrs. Fields brands through continued growth in our branded retail and gifting segments as well as our renewed commitment to upgrading and expanding the Mrs. Fields store base in our franchising segment.”
