The estate of legendary performer Eartha Kitt has signed with LicenseBox, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Moda Entertainment, to represent her name and likeness worldwide.

"I know that my mother would be pleased that her likeness and legacy will remain in the eyes and heart of her fans worldwide," says Kitt Shapiro, daughter of the late entertainer. "By entering into this agreement with Moda, I am confident that her image will be protected and positioned with dignity and respect."

Kitt was known for her roles in Orson Welles' production of Faust, as Catwoman in the 1960s' "Batman" TV series and many others. She received three nominations and two Emmy awards, three Tony nominations and two Grammy nominations.

LicenseBox focuses on merchandising and licensing of classic Hollywood brands and entertainers. Beside the new addition of Kitt, the branch of Moda also represents Duke Ellington, Greta Garbo, Edward G. Robinson, Loretta Young and others.
