Chapman Entertainment's "Fifi and the Flowertots" returns to Five's Milkshake! block in May with the debut of its third season.

The girls preschool property has 52 licenses in the U.K. and has achieved sales of £157 million ($225 million) at retail from over 24 million Fifi items sold since its launch in 2005, Chapman claims. It is aired in some 150 countries.

The third season, jointly commissioned by Milkshake! and Nick Jr, introduces new characters Buttercup and Daisy.

Meanwhile, both Fifi and sibling property Roary the Racing Car are partners in toy store Hamleys' Cartoon Crazy in-store promotion in March. The properties will be featured the week of March 23 to 29 at the London store including character visits, consumer giveaways and a consumer competition.

"The Cartoon Crazy Month provides a great opportunity to drive further awareness around our preschool series," says Melissa Brown, director of marketing at Chapman Entertainment. "We are confident that Fifi and Roary will be a big pull for preschoolers based in and around London, as well as for international tourists on holiday, who are familiar with the brands from their home country."

"We are really excited about our Cartoon Crazy promotion," says Matt Webb, head of marketing at Hamleys. "Animated properties are such a major part of our product offering, with Fifi and Roary integral to our preschool range."
