Melanie Beer has resigned as merchandising and licensing director of the U.K.’s ITV International, the new entity created from Granada Ventures and Granada International.

Beer’s departure follows a major reorganization of the whole of ITV’s commercial business. Gerry Donohoe, who was managing director of Granada Ventures, and had been with the business for 17 years, left this year, and Gustavo Antonioni, previously with Marvel International, joined as commercial brand director of ITV Worldwide.

“While in the post, Mel helped firmly establish Bella Sara as a global brand, built up the U.K. business for 'Numberjacks’ and ‘Thunderbirds,’” says Antonioni, “and grew the business from ITV game shows, among other brands. Her contributions and enthusiasm will be missed.”

ITV is looking to replace the role.
