Decode Enterprises' 2-D animated series "Martha Speaks" has cleared a deal to broadcast on U.K.'s CBBC.

"Martha Speaks" (40x22) is based on the book series by Susan Meddaugh about a dog who can speak. The series currently airs on PBS Kids in the U.S. and in Canada on TVO, Knowledge Network and SCN. "Martha Speaks" is produced by Studio B and WGBH Boston.

"We believe that 'Martha Speaks' will be an ideal fit for CBBC's audience and are delighted to have concluded this major broadcast deal for the series following a strong launch at MIPCOM," says Neil Court, president of Decode Enterprises.

Decode Enterprises is a subsidiary of DHX Media.
