Scrabble, Connect 4 and other classic Hasbro games are now available on the Xbox Live Arcade platform through The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts.

Families and fans can now access games such as Battleship, Yahtzee, Scrabble (U.S. and Canada only) and Connect 4. Other Hasbro games, Boggle, Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders will roll out in the coming months.

Mr. Potato Head acts as the host, where players can choose one of the Hasbro Family Game Night games—all of which feature classic game play, advanced and party modes. The games also connect with Xbox Live Arcade's community features such as stat keepers, avatars, voice chat and more.

"Hasbro's games have always been about getting together to have a good time," says Mark Blecher, senior vice president and general manager of digital media and gaming at Hasbro. "Bringing these favorite brands to Xbox Live Arcade and allowing long-distance family and friends to join in the fun that is unfolding in your living room is incredibly exciting and takes casual gaming to an entirely new level. Hasbro Family Game Night has the potential to replace the weekly 'check-in' call with a weekly game night."

Hasbro Family Game Night games can be purchased individually for 800 Microsoft Points directly through Xbox Live Arcade.
