Toronto's Breakthrough Films & Television has begun working on its newest CGI preschool property starring Dudley the Dragon, based on the classic series "The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon."

"We're very excited about giving the lovable Dudley and his friends a large-scale makeover and introducing the series to a new generation of kids' audiences," says Joan Lambur, executive producer.

The original show was produced in 1993 by Breakthrough in association with TV Ontario and featured live-action and puppetry. It has been licensed in the U.S. (PBS), Canada (Aboriginal Peoples Television Network) and in more than 180 territories.
