San Clemente, Calif.-based T-shirt company Logotel was recently picked up by Concept 1. Logotel has manufactured tees for major retailers for 32 years and holds licenses for Peanuts, Dr. Seuss, The Office, Underdog, Domo and others.

The new addition will be led by Gary St. Louis out of Concept 1's apparel and footwear division in Addison, Texas, says Sam Hafif, chief executive officer of Concept 1. Current Logotel employees, such as Tim Thornburg, art director; Jon-Craig, designer; and Cheyenne Dixon, designer, will remain on the team. A design office will remain in San Clemente.

"We are excited about this acquisition because it puts us squarely in the T-shirt business," says Hafif, "and doubles the revenue of our apparel and footwear division, and because it adds three talented designers with expertise in the category to our company."
