CBS Consumer Products has partnered with Young Minds Inspired to bring Club CSI: lesson plans to 30,000 classrooms across the U.S.

Aimed at students in grades 4-6, the lesson plans use the forensic science brand to strengthen students’ science, technology, engineering and math skills.

The Club CSI: in-school program focuses on the events surrounding the disappearance of a class pet, Griffie the guinea pig.

These lesson plans build on a variety of other CSI: offerings for kids including CSI: The Experience exhibits in cities across the country, science activity kits exclusively at Toys ‘R’ Us and a new series of Club CSI: books.

“Thanks to the popularity of CSI:, forensic science is one of the fastest-growing curricula in schools today,” says Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products. “The Club CSI: in-school activities introduce children to the wonders of forensic science in a fun and engaging way.”
